When I wasn't laughing at the 'too over the top' headware that the Gods had on, and the script didn't require acting at that point in the plot, it wasn't that bad a of movie.  It was entertaining.  What movie isn't entertaining that has fighting, blod, guts, heads exploding, and "natural" disasters?

I think I get what the director was trying to do.  I think he was going for the typical Greek myth, almost as if it was on the stage, but with really really elaborate backgrouds.  It just didn't work for me.  The costumes and some of the sets were just silly.  A random door on a tower?  Really?  That may work in a stage production, but in the movie... stupid.  Sorry dude.

It was worth seeing simply cause it had some great visuals (and did I mention violence?).  Don't expect to be blown away by brilliant acting though.

Favorite Scene:  The Gods fighting the Titans was pretty cool.

(on a scale of 1 to 4 - 4 being best)

Director:  Michael Katleman

Main Actors:  Orlando Jones;  Dominic Purcell; Brooke Langton

Acting:  * * * .5
Story Line:  * * *

I have to start out by saying that Orlando Jones was hilarious in this movie.  I liked him in Evolution, but I think I liked him better in this.  He's a funny guy.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed watching this.  It was suspenseful and entertaining.  I was engaged the entire movie, which is how movies should be.  The graphics could have been better, but were acceptable.  It's hard to make a believable monster crocodile.

I recommend seeing this movie.  It has violence, monsters, and humor - a perfect combination.

Favorite Scene:  Orlando Jones running from Gustave.  The slow mo was great!
